We’ve long been fans of Macy’s fashion-forward INC International Concepts sportswear collections and now that they’ve teamed up with “Project Runway” Season 6 winner, Irina Shabayeva, we’re even more excited.
Irina recently debuted her Spring 2011 capsule collection for INC International Concepts at Trump Soho and we’re bringing you a sneak peek before it even launches in stores. Inspired by movement and dance, the capsule collection includes 13 full looks of form-flattering separates (tops, denim, jackets and dresses) in bold colors and prints. Body con dresses feature clean lines and colorblocking (taking cues from Rubiks Cubes) with colorful panels designed to flatter the figure. Army anorak-style jackets are both light and airy, and voluminous and slouchy but still quite feminine. The collection boasts dance-inspired footwear as well, including Ponte slipper platform sandals and ribbon-tied espadrilles.
Irina Shabayeva for INC International Concepts will launch on Feb. 19 in 50 Macy’s stores including Herald Square in New York City, Union Square in San Francisco, Aventura & Miami International in Miami and State Street in Chicago, as well as online at Macys.com. Right on time for Spring/Summer 2011!
